Taylor Swift is currently tied for the second-most No. 1 albums in American history. The Life of a Showgirl, which dropped in the fall of 2025 and immediately soared to the summit with the largest opening figure of all time, became her milestone fifteenth champion. Since then, Drake has matched her showing, as Iceman, one of three projects he released at the same time this spring, also debuted at No. 1. Only The Beatles claim more rulers, with 19.
Swift has demonstrated for more than a decade that she can not only score a No. 1 album when she has a new project to share, but keep a title on the Billboard 200 for years at a time. It is not uncommon for the superstar to be one of the most successful artists on the ranking of the most-consumed albums in the United States, as she claims a number of projects that have been going strong for hundreds of weeks. This frame, another Swift full-length celebrates a milestone few artists will ever see – one she has reached many times before.
Taylor Swift’s Midnights Reaches 200 Weeks
Midnights reaches 200 weeks on the Billboard 200 this frame. The album, which appears on no other Billboard ranking at the moment, drops eight spaces to No. 128 on the 200-position roster.
Taylor Swift Has Nine Albums With 200 Weeks
Swift has now seen nine of her albums spend at least 200 weeks on the Billboard 200. That’s more charting efforts than some successful musical acts will manage throughout their entire careers, to say nothing of keeping them on the tally for years.
Her longest-running set remains 1989, which has lived on the ranking for more than 11 years. It was not long ago that Red (Taylor’s Version) also crossed the 200-week threshold.
Swift may not have to wait long for another title to join the 200-frame club. Speak Now is up to 194 weeks, while Red and Fearless (Taylor’s Version) have accumulated 185 and 175 periods on the roster, respectively.

Midnights Spent Six Weeks at No. 1
Midnights debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in November 2022 and went on to rule for six weeks. The project is tied with two other Swift releases as her seventh-longest-running champion, as both Speak Now and 1989 (Taylor’s Version) also accomplished half a dozen stays in first place.
Several of her more recent efforts have enjoyed much longer runs at the summit. Her two most recent projects, The Tortured Poets Department and The Life of a Showgirl, both held court at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for double-digit frames.
Taylor Swift Charts Seven Albums This Week
Swift fills seven spaces on the Billboard 200 this week, with The Life of a Showgirl, The Tortured Poets Department, Folklore, Lover, 1989, Midnights and Reputation all finding space on the ranking. Of that bunch, only The Tortured Poets Department gains ground, as it lifts two spaces to No. 55. Every other Swift collection on the roster declines this frame.
Many Taylor Swift Albums Only Appear on the Billboard 200
Most of Swift’s Billboard 200 successes this time around can only be found on that tally. The Life of a Showgirl is the one exception, as it also appears on the Top Streaming Albums chart, where it slips one rung to No. 28. Red (Taylor’s Version) does not currently make the Billboard 200, but it holds at No. 49 on the Top Country Albums ranking.
