At WWE Money in the Bank 2026, six of the brightest young stars looked to cement themselves in history with a monumental victory.

After a series of qualifying matches, half a dozen stars headed to Money in the Bank in New Orleans vying for a guaranteed future world title shot. Among those six rising stars, only Tiffany Stratton had previously won a world championship on the main roster, making this year’s MITB match a true showcase of the next generation of stars.

With a lack of previously established stars in this year’s ladder match, WWE had a tremendous opportunity to strap the proverbial rocket on a rising talent at WWE Money in the Bank.

WWE Money In The Bank 2026 Results For Women’s Ladder Match

WWE has a new Ms. Money in the Bank and, it’s a familiar face.

After a chaotic match filled with high spots and hijinx, Tiffany Stratton secured her second MITB win when she grabbed the Money in the Bank briefcase to earn herself a guaranteed future world title match. This marks Stratton’s second MITB victory in three years after she won it in 2024.

Here are the key highlights and moments from Stratton’’s career-defining victory at WWE Money in the Bank:

  • Early on, Stratton hit a Swanton bomb off a ladder perched on the outside to take out most of the field. She came up slightly short and seemed to bang the back of her head on the ground. Back inside, Jayne nearly grabbed the briefcase but was pulled down by Legend.
  • Vice hit a series of running hip attacks. Perez nailed Legend with a ladder, but Legend returned the favor with a pump kick into the ladder. Stratton went for a powerbomb on Ruca, who landed on her feet and then sent Stratton into the ladder. Jayne catapulted Ruca into the ladder.
  • Eventually, Perez countered the Lash Extension and then hit a springboard moonsault onto Legend and Ruca, who were stretched out across a ladder. The crowd chanted “Roxy” for Perez. Stratton hit an Alabama Slam on Perez and climbed the ladder, but Ruca leaped up and fought off Stratton.
  • As Ruca held onto the briefcase, Jayne pushed the ladder down, causing Ruca to hang from the briefcase and drop down on top of Jayne, Stratton and Legend. Perez ran into a big boot by Legend, who then hit Ruca with a big backbreaker. Legend hit Perez and Stratton with a double chokeslam onto a ladder.
  • As Legend was lying stretched across a ladder between the ring apron and the announce table, Ruca hit her with a massive frog splash that split the ladder in two. Moments later, Jayne and Vice went crashing through a ladder as well. Perez went into the ring as the crowd cheered loudly, then Stratton appeared in the ring too.
  • As Perez and Stratton exchanged strikes, the crowd was firmly behind Perez, who hit Stratton with Pop Rox and climbed the ladder. Ruca entered the ring and pulled Perez down the ladder. Perez then hit an incredible Sol Snatcher on Perez and attempted to climb the ladder, but Legend entered the ring and limbed the ladder.
  • Stratton climbed onto the other side, and the twos tars went at it. As Stratton grabbed the briefcase, she knocked Legend off the top. That was enough to allow her to grab the briefcase and win the Money in the Bank briefcase for the second time in the last three years.

WWE Money In The Bank 2026 Results: What’s Next For Roxanne Perez?

In looking at the field for the women’s Money in the Bank match prior to the event, it became apparent that two entrants stood out as possible winners: Stratton and Perez.

The other entrants, though talented, are not quite ready to be elevated to the main event scene just yet. Perez, however, is nicknamed “The Prodigy” for a reason and has long been capable of breaking out from the shadows of both Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan in The Judgment Day.

Rodriguez is the current Women’s Intercontinental Championship while Morgan at Money in the Bank and was Women’s World Champion just a few weeks ago. For most of her main roster run, Perez has been booked as the understudy of sorts to Morgan, despite the 24-year-old star being one of WWE’s best pure in-ring performers.

At Money in the Bank, Perez had a golden opportunity to win the biggest match of her career. It was, after all, long overdue. Perez should not be the third most important women’s star in a fading Judgment Day stable. Instead, she should be going toe-to-toe with the likes of Becky Lynch, Stephanie Vaquer and Morgan at the top of Raw’s women’s division.

Instead, WWE went the predictable route with Stratton winning, likely to facilitate a heel turn and eventual feud with WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green. That, however, didn’t necessarily need a MITB briefcase involved, as it will essentially be a repeat of Stratton’s storyline with Nia Jax a couple of years ago.

Thus, if anyone truly lost this match at Money in the Bank, it was Perez. The fans in New Orleans wanted her to win, but WWE, apparently, did not.
