Roman Reigns vs. LA Knight

Knight worked the best match of his WWE career. It came after he’d cut the best promo of his time with the promotion as well. Still, it wasn’t his time to go over and finally become world champion. It’s hard to imagine what it’ll take and when it will be his time — if ever.

After the match, The 946 appeared in the crowd. The Usos and Solo Sikoa went after them, and the brawl spilled out of the arena until Jaida Parker drove The 946 away in an SUV, per Yahoo Sports.

Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match

The women’s MITB match was trending toward being a classic, but the end seemed to come abruptly. Sol Ruca used her time wisely, but it was Stratton who got the call. That was an odd choice and the single most egregious booking decision of the evening.

The win makes Stratton a two-time Ms. Money in the Bank, per WWE.

Women’s World Championship Triple Threat

The most boring match of the night was the Women’s World Championship. The Triple Threat battle had a slow pace and no real in-arena energy. Liv going over wasn’t the worst call, but most expected Vaquer to retain.

Oba Femi vs. Bronson Reed

Oba Femi’s win over Bronson Reed was expected, but seeing the former shake off two brass-knuckle punches and a Tsunami further conveys WWE’s supreme confidence in The Ruler.

After the show, Femi called out Reigns. “Tribal Chief… no more running. It’s about that time,” Femi said, per Wrestle Purists.

Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match

The men’s MITB match was the best match of the night and Breakker’s performance was the best I’ve ever seen in MITB history.

He had at least four OMG moments and appeared to be the top performer overall. I thought the Je’Von Evans ambulance moment could have happened differently.

Having him drive the ambulance back into the arena was an unnecessary way to get the vehicle in place for the final spot. It would have made more sense to bring the ambulance ringside and to have it stalled for some reason. And for Evans to emerge from the back of the vehicle. We could have still seen the same epic plunge from the ladder.

What’s Next After Money in the Bank

Penta and Stratton can each cash in for a championship match at any time within the next year. Raw streams live on Netflix on Monday, Oct. 12, at 8 p.m. ET, with The Bloodline facing The 946, per Netflix.
