Sun Day Red has dropped its Summer Championship Collection, which includes a polo inspired by one of Tiger Woods’ collegiate-era looks, along with an ode to Long Island as the U.S. Open returns to Shinnecock Hills.

“Championship week is a different environment. The rough is up, the greens are firm, and everything is harder,” said Caje Moye, Senior Creative Director at Sun Day Red. “We wanted this collection to be built for that—not just aesthetically, but in how it actually performs on the body over four days of competition.”

The Summer Championship Collection features a red, white, and blue color palette inspired by the 250th anniversary of the United States’ independence. That theme also carries through to the brand’s footwear releases in the Presidio LE and Osprey LE lines.

The Cardinal Polo joins the Elite Pique and 91 AM Polo in the brand’s throwback lineup. These reimagined designs were famously worn during Tiger Woods’ amateur golf career. The original polo featured red stripes across the front and navy blue stripes across the back that extended into the sleeves, creating a distinctive contrasting design.

Sun Day Red continues to revive some of Woods’ most iconic on-course looks, updating them with modern fits and performance fabrics. These updated materials include UV protection, antimicrobial properties, and strategically placed stretch for enhanced comfort and mobility.

The Summer Championship Collection also includes a collaboration with Vessel. The Player V6 Stand Bag returns in black with red legs and red stitching. The collection also introduces lifestyle accessories, including a gym bag and shoe bag.

The company also unveiled its entry into women’s clothing in April. Their offerings include polos, skirts, relaxed pants, shoes, hats and accessories.

Tiger may not be playing in the US Open this year but his apparel may on property as son Charlie Woods and Tiger cheer on teammate Miles Russel in his debut at the tournament.
