Looking for help with today’s Wordle? In this guide, we have some extra hints and clues to help you on your path to Wordle victory, plus a fun Bonus Wordle to solve while you’re at it. And if you don’t want to bother with clues, you can find today’s Wordle answer right here.
Well, Wordlers, it’s Saturday and it’s August and we’re trying something a little bit new out with our daily Wordle guides, which have gotten quite long with bonus Wordles, etymologies and all the rest. Going forward, on a trial basis at first, I’ll be splitting the guides in twain. The first will have the hints and clues, the Bonus Custom Wordle and so forth. Then I’ll link to the second, which will have the answer, the Wordle Bot analysis, the Competitive Wordle score and the daily etymology. This will also help avoid the accidental spoiler. In any case, let’s get on with it, shall we?

How To Play Wordle
Wordle is a daily word puzzle game where your goal is to guess a hidden five-letter word in six tries or fewer. After each guess, the game gives feedback to help you get closer to the answer:
- Green: The letter is in the word and in the correct spot.
- Yellow: The letter is in the word, but in the wrong spot.
- Gray: The letter is not in the word at all.
Use these clues to narrow down your guesses. Every day brings a new word, and everyone around the world is trying to solve the same puzzle. Some Wordlers also play Competitive Wordle against friends, family, the Wordle Bot or even against me, your humble narrator. See rules for Competitive Wordle toward the end of this post.
