WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event 2026 Results, Returns and Highlights

My hopes weren’t high for this episode of WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event, but the show delivered. Here’s a look at the winners, a surprise return and highlights. Let’s talk WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event.

WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event Key Facts

Randy Orton knocked off Cody Rhodes in a strong main event that will not end their feud. Orton used a low blow that took out Rhodes and a second ref (after Charles Robinson was down from a previous ref bump).

Was it an instant classic? Not quite, the stakes weren’t high enough, but it was a very good main event for a Sunday Night’s Main Event program.

The opening match featured strong performances from all three men. Yachty, Corbin and Trick did exactly what was needed to pull off an entertaining match and a half. Yachty’s work at the Performance Center paid off. He wasn’t spectacular, but he was plenty good enough to push his way past five minutes in an entertaining manner.

Shout out to Corbin who was cut in the Yachty match, but still showed his normal solid work in dropping the title to Williams.

Williams beat Corbin in 11:14 with the Trick Shot for his second reign. Femi went 14 minutes with Breakker before the chair shot, and Bleacher Report graded that match a B-plus.

The Breakker-Femi match was great, and the best part was there wasn’t a definitive winner. I felt it was too early to have either man go over cleanly, and clearly, WWE felt the same way.

Instead, the biggest story from this exchange was the return of Bronson Reed. The Vision is now almost back to full strength as Logan Paul nears a return. Reed is noticeably leaner and looks like even more of a monster than before.

The Vision decimated Femi and overall, it will be great for everyone involved. Cathy Kelley asked Paul Heyman about the attack later in the night. He took a phone call and walked off.

Jade Cargill, Michin and B-Fab came out in attires that paid homage to the legendary R&B group TLC. They looked great and it was even better that they went over. The match wasn’t spectacular, but it wasn’t terrible. Cargill pinned Flair with Jaded at 9:35 after B-Fab kicked Paxley into her.

Here’s a tidbit: Cargill is undefeated at Saturday/Sunday Night’s Main Event. She’s now 3-0 including winning the WWE Women’s Championship over Tiffany Stratton on the show.
